Welcome to Soviet America, citizen

So where did American torturers at Guantanamo Bay learn their trade, given that, until the Chimperor's imperial presidency, the United States abhorred and condemned torture?

Answer: a chart and documentation copied verbatim from a 1957 Air Force study of Chinese Communist techniques used during the Korean War to obtain confessions, many of them false, from American prisoners.

We of course condemned these techniques as torture in 1957 -- and used them in 2007. We defeated the Soviet Union overseas so that we could become the new Soviet Union. Welcome to Soviet America, comrade.

    Well, given that the neocons and their enablers are still FIGHTING THE COLD WAR, this is to be expected.

    What do you call this? Post-Cold War Stockholm Syndrome?
