Beauty and the Beast

Huh. So John McNasty chooses a former beauty queen, creationist, anti-feminist activist, and current crooked politician as his Veep nominee? This is certainly unexpected. Standing beside Alaska gov. Sarah Palin, John McCain will look even more elderly, out-of-touch, and just plain old. Way to go John, you managed to choose one of the few Republicans who could make you look worse than you already look...

  1. Yea , desperate for any kind of attention , McSame choses a woman VP . Cool , except she is under investigation , she is anti- enviroment , and she has no governing experience to speak of .
I would have chosen "Mitt and his magic underwear " for him , but this woman seems offer a fair ammount of ridicule potential , not to mention a possible conviction .
Look at it this way , either we have a Black President or an unqualified woman VP with an unhealthy President . Good talking point for the southern states .

  2. It's an interesting choice. Is it primarily motivated by the desire to pick up disaffected Hillary supporters? If so, it seems like a risky strategy.

I was really hoping he'd pick Dick Cheney. Or Phil Gramm, that would work too.

  3. Call this ticket "Bob Dole-Dan Quayle for the 21st Century"! Even more pathetic than a Dukakis-Ferraro slate. Absolutely brilliant move -- for the people who hate Repiglicans.

If the 'Pigs had picked someone from the financial Mafia like Romney, who would be chosen so he could be the REAL president when the cancer-ridden baby-killer had to step aside for "health reasons," then I'd think they had half-a-plan for contesting it this year. But this is another indication that TPTB have decided to let the tightywhityrightys take a pass. The scheme is to let Obama be at the helm when the Greater Depression hits, in the hopes that he'll: No. 1 Take the Blame and No. 2: Manage a Better Controlled Descent for the Country than the flaming plane-crasher McInsane did with all his hard landings.

  4. Great pic.

Bukko, the local newz coverage was all about predicting the McCain pick as Romney, and reiterating over and over again that he had recently bought a 12 million dollar beachfront property in La Jolla. McCain was busy selling thousand dollar plates of food and fifteen hundred dollar pictures with him in Coronado, or La Jolla, or some shit.

They were both in town, so there was very little coverage of Denver.

Sometimes I wonder if the local newz even knows that there is a Democratic Party.

  5. Well, except for Bowtie Bob (Kittle, the editor of the GOP propaganda rag, the UT). He knows there are some problems with the Republican party right now.
