Talking about praying the gay away...

... my gaydar bings loudly upon viewing the web site of this right-wing anti-gay minister who is calling for a boycott of Starbucks over their support for gay marriage. Especially when I view the videos, where he makes Mr. Rogers look manly with his stereotypically gay phrasings and mannerisms. At first I thought, "this can't be real, this has to be a parody of a right-wing closeted gay preacher". But based on my Google searches, he seems to really be what he is: A proponent of the conservative gay agenda. I.e., bigger closets.

- Badtux the Snarky Penguin

  1. My brother worked on location with Fred Rogers once. Seems the other talent on the shoot was one of the Carradine brothers, who was busy being a real jerk to everyone on the set. Finally he zeroed in on Rogers and my brother said Rogers just niced him to a standstill. Wish I had been around to see that. So, yeah, Fred Rogers - big fan here.

  2. Always nice to know we have a good and funny story in the pipeline!

    "Conservative preacher caught..."

  3. DANGER Will Robinson, DANGER, DANGER, even the robot's Gaydar went off. He didn't get them full lips and round mouth from sucking on box cars. LOL

  4. Methinks that pastor doth protest too much. He and Michelle Bachmann's wife would make a lovely couple.

  5. As posited by Poe's Law,* it's almost im-poe-sible to tell what's parody and what a sincere but batshit Christian really is saying.
