  1. As I recall, your jeep is only about three years old, and it needs axle parts already?

    My Dakota is 15 years old and still running on the original u joints and doesn't use any oil between changes.

  2. Huh? What's that got to do with Justin Townes Earle? Anyhow, no, my Jeep doesn't *need* axle parts (and it's 5 years old, BTW). But it needs regearing to deal with the big tires I put on it, it's really sluggish with the stock 3.73 gears and the 185 horsepower/225 ft/lbs of torque available from that old AMC straight six, which is built more for durability than for power (well known for going 300K or more miles). Or I could put OEM-sized tires back on it to get my performance back, but that's no fun.
