Abusive church

Sleater-Kinney, "The Last Song", off of their self-titled first album. I was very surprised when Carrie Brownstein started screaming. Usually screaming duties were Corinne Tucker's.

I'm not quite sure what this song is about. An abusive boyfriend? An abusive parent? All I know is that it's dark, dark, dark... and noisy. Really noisy. Sigh, I miss the 90's, when you could hear some really noisy stuff like this practically everywhere you turned, instead of all the overproduced overcompressed crap...

  1. BBC: Your cranky old butt is going to be first to die when your Social Security payments quit coming because of these deficit morons. So better start caring.

Oh, I care alright, I care enough to have set myself up to keep getting by if my SS money does go down the toilet. Of course it doesn't take much to keep me going being as everything is free and clear.

All a monkey really needs is a dry place and some food and such and I have that covered. And I have a few good friends also.

  2. Actually, they won't drop SS in my lifetime. They'll just keep making up magical figures to keep it going. Our monetary system is really just a lot of smoke screens and bullshit.

If it tumbles, and I fully expect it to, it will be after I'm dead and gone and then of course I won't give a shit.
