Meow

Cat: "Meow! Meow! Meow!"

Me: "What is it, kitty? Has Timmeh fallen down the well?"

Cat: "Meow! Meow! Meow!". Cat moves away and stares intently upward at the wall near where it joins the ceiling.

Me: "Oh. You see a bug."

Cat: "Meow! Meow! Meow!"

Me: "Sorry, I can't get it for you. Penguins aren't much for flying."

Cat: "Meow! Meow! Meow!". Cat jumps up onto dining room table. "Meow! Meow! Meow!". Cat jumps down off dining room table, and jumps up on the china cabinet. "Meow! Meow! Meow!" Cat attempts the six foot leap to the top of the nearest book-case, fails, and slides down the side of the book-case until he hits the backside of my MIDI keyboard, which is leaning against the wall to keep the dust out of the keys. He slides down the backside of my MIDI keyboard and disappears out of sight in the shadow of the dining room table.

Me: I go around the table to see the cat. Cat is sitting on his hindside, looking up at bug. "Are you okay?"

Cat: Licks front paw, as if to say, "I meant to do that."

Me: "Yeah right."

Just another day in the life of a cat-owned penguin.

Ground rules: Comments that consist solely of insults, fact-free talking points, are off-topic, or simply spam the same argument over and over will be deleted. The penguin is the only one allowed to be an ass here. All viewpoints, however, are welcomed, even if I disagree vehemently with you.

WARNING: You are entitled to create your own arguments, but you are NOT entitled to create your own facts. If you spew scientific denialism, or insist that the sky is purple, or otherwise insist that your made-up universe of pink unicorns and cotton candy trees is "real", well -- expect the banhammer.
