  1. Close to Unbelieveable ! After my 55 years and God alone knows how many years of slavery ; a Black man was elected President !
You know , it really shouldn't matter that he is Black . We abolished Slavery and are working on Racism ( sorta ) . In the end tho it was always ugly racism that was working on the election .
Well we beat it , for once . Maybe Hope and hope of change can finally flouish , no matter what color we are . Here is to the future , rosy ? nawww , but hopefull at least . By God , I think we may actually have a chance to survive ???

  6. It is a great time to be an American. It is a great time to be part of this wonderful world we live in.

Congratulations to us, the American people for voting for ourselves!

  7. I feared that racism, bigotry and lies would have all prevented Obama's election, I am so happy to find out I was wrong. Obama's speech was fantastic, and even McCain's concession speech was good(in spite of the boos from the crowd). While we may have a long way to go, as a country, and battling ignorance, this is a great step, and honestly, I am ecstatic.

  8. We got sick and tired of the Republicans, and in four or eight years we will be sick and tired of the Democrats. Maybe then we can get in an Independent of some sort in to give it a shot. If we are not in anarchy.

Just how much power do you people think a president has to change things? Not that damn much.

I don't expect things to change much for the next year, other than to maybe get worse.

This country is full of people that think they are special and should be spoiled, yeah, lets see how it is in a year.

I like the man but I'm not blowing soap bubbles yet.
