And white trash retirees wept...

But never fear, these new guys will take your place as the epitomy of bad taste:

  1. Actually, I rather like the fornicating gnomes. If you really must decorate your lawn with hideous statuary or cheap plastic items, this just seems more honest. Also the perfect gift for Wiccans as well as white trash.

  2. Well, at least now we know how garden gnomes reproduce :-).

(Hey, okay, so both gnomes and penguins are short, but there's a slight incompatibility in the, err, nether regions... that whole cloaca thing, dig?)

  3. Even pink flamingoes can be posed, well, indelicately.

  4. Okay, so I swiped a copy of that. :-)

  5. So...where is the bad taste? ;-)

  6. If you wanted to go way retro, you could get lawn jockeys. As far as 'fornicating' ones, they were all male, but they were made out of cast iron and you could probably make them do anything you want. Political incorrectness on top of political incorrectness?

  7. Well, I'm not feeling the love for the pink birds.

When my friend came home from the war in Iraq his friends filled his back yard with dozens of these things. It was funny as hell to see so many of them in one place. They were all in the trash can the following Monday. Poor things had to "cut and run".

  8. I like the flamingos, but I don't want just a regular pair. We live out in the country and have a large pasture between our house and the road. My husband and I are constructing a properly proportioned pair - approximately 6 to 8 feet tall.
I'll send a picture when they are done.
Hmmm . . .think it will piss off the annoying yuppie neighbors?
    Hope so.

  9. Where can I get a pair of those gnomes? They'd be wonderful to plant in someone's yard. ;-)

Ground rules: Comments that consist solely of insults, fact-free talking points, are off-topic, or simply spam the same argument over and over will be deleted. The penguin is the only one allowed to be an ass here. All viewpoints, however, are welcomed, even if I disagree vehemently with you.
