River times

Darrell Scott performs his song "River Take Me" off of his album Theatre of the Unheard. Darrell makes his nut as a session musician and songwriter in Nashville. He has a buncha albums of his own that nobody has ever heard of, but if you ever heard any of his songs they were probably being song by Patty Loveless or Travis Tritt or someone like that. So it goes, if you ain't pretty like that Taylor Swift you ain't nobody in America.

  1. Thank you for putting up this link. I'm an old 66 year old fart with a poor memory but I sure would have remembered this guy. Just downloaded a pile of songs from Utube. This man is a prize.

  2. Yeah, he's righteous. I, too, have no idea how the hell I never heard of this guy. Crap, he can play, he can sing... WTF? I guess he just ain't pretty 'nuff. Siiiiiigh!

BTW, that's some damned fine flatpicking, and I say that as an okay flatpicker myself but I ain't nowhere in that league.
