Time to go to the library...

Do it today -- put in an inter-library loan request for Chairman Mao's Little Red Book. Drive the Department of Homeland Security bonkers trying to interview all of us.

  2. I wonder if they have flagged "Ecstasy and Me" by Heady Lamar.

  3. Don't forget the Koran. Putting in an ILL request for the Koran is bound to flag you as a terrorist in the Department of Homeland Security computer. Unfortunately, my tolerance for bad science fiction is low.

  4. Don't forget My Pet Goat.....I know we joke , but it is real...and 1000's are on the watch lists, and Book lists- don't kid yourself, if the Penagon is watching Quaker Grannies- nothing is off limits- we have Criminals at the Helm...

  5. My library didn't have "The Qoutations" but it did have The Chairman "On Guerilla Warfare." I put a hold on it.

I will continue to place holds on so called "questionable books." If they want to track me down and waste their time, so be it.

Won't be a waste of my time as I will blog the hell out of it.

  6. Err, ya gotta do an ILL (Inter Library Loan) request in order to get on DHS's watch list. Simply putting a hold on it at the library isn't good enough, unless it is a big city library monitored directly by DHS. (Yes, I've worked in a library before!).

Ground rules: Comments that consist solely of insults, fact-free talking points, are off-topic, or simply spam the same argument over and over will be deleted. The penguin is the only one allowed to be an ass here. All viewpoints, however, are welcomed, even if I disagree vehemently with you.

WARNING: You are entitled to create your own arguments, but you are NOT entitled to create your own facts. If you spew scientific denialism, or insist that the sky is purple, or otherwise insist that your made-up universe of pink unicorns and cotton candy trees is "real", well -- expect the banhammer.
