In a time of chimpanzees, I was a penguin.
The religious right is motivated by the suspicion that someone, somewhere,
is having fun -- and that this must be stopped.
This is off of their new album. Beth's lyrics remind me of early Leonard Cohen here (that's a good thing, BTW), her voice is beautiful as usual, and her backing musicians appropriately complement and contrast to make a whole.

I thought Portishead broke up -- it's been eleven years since they released their second album. Good to see they're together again -- and that's a great song, too. I've just posted the video clip on my music blog. Thanks for bringing it to my attention...
