Rawkin'

Okay, so Bill wasn't exactly the most rockin' of dudes and that was a long concert. So here's L7 rocking out with their 1992 hit ""Pretend We're Dead". Just your generic grunge-punk, except done by chicks. Which was sort of revolution in 1992, I suppose.

  1. I LOVE L7! Generic grunge-punk? I don't think so! Saw them in 1994 and they were fantastic. Really, "Bricks Are Heavy" is not one of their stronger albums. "Smell the Magic" is a much better record.

  2. PS: I actually interviewed Donita Sparks for my boyfriend's zine a few years back.

  3. Hmmm.

At least they had a redhead.

    Cheers!

  4. Jazz, that shade of red doesn't exist in nature. Bottle, all the way :). So no, you can't chalk this one up to my liking of red-headed female musicians, rather, it's because The Truffle mentioned L7 a few weeks back. So blame it on The Truffle :).
