Cat + Box = Naptime

Cat. Box. Fun ensues. The Mighty Fang and Mencken chill. Actually, Mencken sort of decides to kick TMF out of the box from time to time... TMF is bigger than Mencken, but Mencken is older and meaner.

  1. Seriously I get a kick out of these damn cats of yours and how you frame them.

Have a friend who's cat is crazy about paper clips. Fetches most of the time and for a long time. Leave a few laying around different places and they will be in the food dish come morning.

  2. This one was ridiculously easy. Just empty the box out, set it down, and within minutes a cat was in it. It's like throwing a ball against the wall and waiting for it to bounce back to ya... you know it's gonna happen, but you do it anyhow, just to do it ;).

  3. Treasure them now. My guy's dying; the vet's coming over tomorrow to give him the magic needle. You sure couldn't tell him that he's sick (intestinal lymphoma, most likely) what with all the yelling for food, which he can't keep down anymore for more than a few minutes without a shot of Cerenia. But 16 is a good run for a tomcat, so I'm kind of OK that he's not in pain and is alert, but not OK with euthanasia when he seems fine, other than not being able to eat.

  4. Yeah, this is going to probably be my last pair of kittehs, because I don't think I'll want to go through that again. Not to mention that my own health isn't the best so I have no idea whether I'd outlast a new set of kittehs :-(. That's an issue my mother is facing right now, she's getting to where she can barely care for herself, much less pets, and ...
