It's not a crime if the U.S. government does it

EBM points out that if the U.S. government adopted a policy of raping young lambs, the New York Times et. al. would at best call it "ethically dubious" or "harsh treatment of livestock" rather than call it rape. Because it's only a crime if wogs do it. Not if Americans do it as official government policy.
