Les Paul, R.I.P.

He was 94 years old.

If you are a musician, you know who he was. If not, you have probably heard the results of his work. May he rest in peace in the light of the Great Penguin in that paradise above where the ice floes never melt and the herring is always tasty.

  1. Back when I was a tyke - the early/middle 50s - I would see short spots with him and Mary Ford. The one song I specificaly remember is "How High the Moon?" Afer literally not listening to this in over half a century, I remember it well enough to anticipate every lick he played in this clip.

Great innovator, and a nice long gig.

    Adios, Amigo.
