Too many blows to the head

In today's World Nut Daily, famed economist Chuck Norris says President Obama is behind the recent surge in gas prices, because it's part of his secret Kenyan plot to not get re-elected in November. Or something like that. Hey, it's Chuck Norris. If you're Chuck Norris you don't have to make sense, reality bends to fit *you*. Or something like that.

  1. Driving around doing errands this morning, I caught part of an analyst interview on San Francisco Bay Area station KCBS. This analyst said that there's a $10-$20 "fear factor" built into the price of crude oil right now, because of concerns about Iran. (He didn't say so, but I'm interpolating that he means concerns about potential Israel/U.S. invasion.) He said that the "fear factor" translates into $0.50/gallon at the pump. Seems high to me, but what do I know?

  2. Yeah, of course the entire news media of the United States will completely fail to notice that the people screaming loudest about gas prices are the same ones screaming loudest, "Murder all Iranians, now!"

  3. The price of gas is high because I'm surrounded by greed and fucking idiots.

  4. His logic is so dense and compact, light bends around it.
