In a time of chimpanzees, I was a penguin.
The religious right is motivated by the suspicion that someone, somewhere,
is having fun -- and that this must be stopped.
Using this to get into the right mood for one of my own songs, which is moody but not angry (more the sort of song where I have to wipe my eyes at the end because it's sad). Okay, I know I keep saying I'm going to record more of my own songs but I never seem to find the time, sigh...

ReplyDeleteYes, I've listened to Hope Sandoval/Mazzie Star. Good stuff, but more along the unrelentingly melancholy psychedelic shoegazer lines. That wasn't the mood I was going for when sitting down to write last night.

Any songs I've wrote are risque.
