This is The Avett Brothers, singing "Laundry Room" off of their album I and Love and You produced by Rick Rubin, who apparently isn't letting being promoted to co-head of Columbia Records stop him from going into the studio and doing his imitation of Rick Rubin reviving the career of Johnny Cash...
I haven't the slightest idea what genre to call this. Maybe "alt-country". Or somethin'.

How about "honky-tonk-a-billy" for a description? That's the best i can come up with. And even that doesn't seem to work -- the guy on the cello alone makes this difficult...
