The religious right is motivated by the suspicion that someone, somewhere,
is having fun -- and that this must be stopped.
A few days back, just in time for Burns' Supper, we learned that the USDA was going to allow importing Scottish haggis again. Sadly, that was incorrect. So those of you pining for authentic Scottish sheep offal stuffed into a sheep stomach shall simply have to do without for the time being. Oh the agony!

Speaking of haggis, here's one of the craziest things I've heard of up here -- a combo Robert Burns Day/Chinese New Year's fest called "Gung Haggis Fat Choy. Brought to you by a fellow called "Toddish McWong."
