The U.S. is on track to lose another 6,000,000 jobs by the end of the year, which would raise the unemployment rates to Great Depression levels. Can we call it a Depression now?
And the Republicans fiddle... and propose policies that are absolutely insane, while Harry Reid tries to remember which denture box he left his balls in rather than scheduling a vote. Gah! The stupid, it burns, it burns!

I foolishly thought that " we " won the election ! Hah ! I actually began to believe " they " might actually get something done . Especially with the economy since it figured so highly during the election . The ' game ' of politics triumphs , again . See ya in the soup line ...

How is it that more tax cuts are the answer, when tax cutting was all that seemed to happen for the previous 8 years? I do not understand this reasoning. If I did not know better, it would almost seem as if the GOP wanted the economy to keep declining, so that people would vote for them in 2010 and 2012.
