For extra bonus history points, name which of these two songs was written by Grace, and who wrote the other one for her. Interesting that these are the two most famous songs of the Jefferson Airplane and they were... well, if the person singing the song is the person who wrote it, but she wrote it at her prior band, is that a cover? Hmm.... in any event, they weren't originally Airplane songs, as you point out :).

"White Rabbit" was written by Grace Slick, while "Someone To Love" was written for her by her brother-in-law, Darby Slick. Both were originally performed by The Great Society, as you point out, though it was the Airplane that made them famous.
