Yes indeed, the 2004 Orwell Award, granted to those who lie in order to create new realities in the minds of people, is now being awarded by the National Conservative Union to Zell Miller and the Swift Boat Liars for Bush.
Of course they don't call it the "Orwell Award". They call it the "Courage under Fire award". Interesting, that in NCU NewSpeak "courage" means "willingness to lie."
