Charter schools no better than public schools

Wow, you mean that sprinkling the magic fairy dust of "competition" onto a school, without otherwise changing its curriculum or how it's organized, has no effect on school performance? Wow! Who couldlda thunk it!

There is no magic fairy dust. We get the schools we want -- and deserve.
