In other news, just read the ingredients list on a package of Bigelow tea. "natural lemon flavor (soy lecithin)" -- WTF? When did soybean plants start growing lemons?!

You should read "Omnivore's Dilemma" by Michael Pollan. It's a good intro to how that soy thing happens.
ReplyDeleteMy optical mouse is always having shit fits but the computer monkey that built it says that an optical mouse is the only kind of mouse I can use on this computer.

Did you know that the knobs on old Fords were made from soy beans? It seems to be a pretty useful crop.

ReplyDeleteIn reference to your comment about our lemon tea, soy lecithin has always been a part of the natural flavor in some of our teas. Soy Lecithin is a component of soybean that is used in our teas as a flavor emulsifier.
