Grampa Simpson sez illegals caused his corns
John McCain blames illegal immigrants for forest fire in northeastern Arizona. Because, y'know, that part of the country -- which is northeast of Phoenix (as in, on the opposite end of the state from the Mexican border) and is mostly empty forests and wilderness areas -- is just *so* full of illegal immigrants.

ReplyDeleteListening to San Francisco Bay Area radio station KCBS this morning, they were talking to some sheriff in the southern part of the state who seemed to think that the fires in his end of the state could be blamed on illegal border-crossers, but he said they were probably started as signal fires or decoy fires, related to organized smuggling.
ReplyDeleteOf course, whether this has anything to do with reality is unknown... and McCain is still an idiot, as you pointed out.
