To say that this thing is *fast* is like saying the ocean is big... sorta an understatement. Just sayin'.

In a time of chimpanzees, I was a penguin.
The religious right is motivated by the suspicion that someone, somewhere,
is having fun -- and that this must be stopped.

Ground rules: Comments that consist solely of insults, fact-free talking points, are off-topic, or simply spam the same argument over and over will be deleted. The penguin is the only one allowed to be an ass here. All viewpoints, however, are welcomed, even if I disagree vehemently with you.
WARNING: You are entitled to create your own arguments, but you are NOT entitled to create your own facts. If you spew scientific denialism, or insist that the sky is purple, or otherwise insist that your made-up universe of pink unicorns and cotton candy trees is "real", well -- expect the banhammer.

Now, not being technologically gifted, it sounds like (a) the iPad itself is what you're crowing about, and (b) Verizon lets you send/receive roughly twice the data in the same time when compared to Compost (I love that name for them). Since I started with a 9600 baud modem, both sound pretty freakin' fast to me. Anyways, congrats. Oh, and the lovely yet talented Mrs618 just got one -- also on Verizon -- and she seems pretty happy with it here in Maine.
ReplyDeleteAh, the days of Compuserve CB Simulator on a 900 baud modem...
ReplyDeleteDon't forget, the ocean is not only big, it is also very, very wet.
ReplyDeleteCheers!
