is having fun -- and that this must be stopped.

Tuna juice (water or oil) is well known as a premium cat lubricant. Gets their purr started.
ReplyDeleteBy the bye a variant is cream of celery soup.

Fabulous bachelor recipe. Dumping the side veggies into the casserole instantly turns it into the tired single mom recipe. Kids will eat vegetables as long as they're disguised in something cheesy or(if raw) dunked in ranch dressing.
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine throws in some frozen peas. Yum! I usually just make the mac and mushroom soup without the tuna.
ReplyDeleteHello, Mr Penguin.
ReplyDeleteOne Pot Slop is my specialty.
The Mac & Cheese also works great with some beans and sausage, with a bit of onion or green peppers.
YUM!!
It's not just for bachelors, you know. Bachelorettes enjoy that stuff, too. And we got really super fancy when I was a starving lassie in college...we added a can of peas to the mixture!
ReplyDeleteI love this meal, and I get cravings for it. Actual cravings. It makes Lola the Cat happy, too (she and her brother, Manni Moe, could be cousins of The Mighty Fang), because she gets to "clean out the can" when I am making the meal. Manni Moe is too slow.
