Kitten therapy
I am sitting here on my couch with one cat curled up against my right hip, one cat curled up against my left hip, and my laptop computer on my lap. Oh, and they're both purring, too.

ReplyDeleteWell, the one on the right hip is usually the heater in my lap. The one on the left hip warms my chest when I lie in bed, purring loudly. I have the clingiest cats in the world, I think. As for my laptop computer, it's one of those new low-power Intel ones, so it makes very little heat -- I get 4 to 6 hours on a battery charge. If anything, the kitty on my right hip was somewhat resentful of the fact that my computer, not him, was taking up my lap...

ReplyDeleteKitty (mine) deigned to come inside tonight.. it's raining out & she's curled up on the bed..
Somehow the sound of a purring cat is sure to bring on a wave of contentment.
