He has a degree in Ecomomics, BTW, which makes his vote all the more credible.<br /><br />Specter is not going to vote in lockstep with Democrats, either, which will be irritating at times. But we owe him for voting his conscience on the Stimulus bill for the good of the country. <br /><br />And as you observed, this further weakens the leadership of the wingnut GOP, accelerating the polarization.
