...Jazz: Yes. As you're so fond of saying WASF.

Dope: Yes, I'm being charitable :).

Bukko: Good point.

Montag: Works pretty well with any kind of meat. It was originally written for tree rat (squirrel). I draw the line at eating dog or cat though.

Comrade, Republican leaves a bad taste in your mouth due to the amount of bile and venom contained in the species. I assume that, as with pufferfish, it would be possible to somehow isolate and remove the poisonous parts, leaving just the meat. But it may be that, as with toads, the bile and venom is simply too widely dispersed within the body of the creature to make it worthwhile to attempt to eat it.

- Badtux the Snarky PenguinBadTuxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01345749557330760251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9612609.post-75297474488029619602010-12-04T12:33:42.504-08:002010-12-04T12:33:42.504-08:00Can we substitute the rat with a republican?

No of...Nice recipe, probably works as well on cats. No offense to TMF and the others, but you might want to keep them close to home. I still remember from my younger days, some older Italian fellows reminiscing about the "Italian Game Suppers" of the first Republican Great Depression. Anything with wings or four paws was eligible.montaghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15333471337818106739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9612609.post-40791957141973522762010-12-03T09:03:57.898-08:002010-12-03T09:03:57.898-08:00Give a man a rat and he eats for a day.
