About 50% of the dead people have Hispanic-sounding names. Is that who the poor-enough-to-die-by-the-side-of-the-road demographic is in your neck of the woods? Not saying that to cast aspersions on Mexicans and other Spanish-surnamed people. I just wonder why? Are they prone to alcoholism and drug addiction but they don't have the support network -- familial or governmental -- to get treatment/housing in this country? Are more of them murdered and dumped, and they have no one to claim the bodies?
