Their lives need to have meaning and they need to have the tools to change their lives.<BR/><BR/>If you can't show them a way out, you are just teaching them to march in place.<BR/><BR/>They have to believe that what they do will make a difference. If staying in school and getting good grades doesn't lead anywhere, why should they bother?<BR/><BR/>In the world of the inner city crime is the only thing that pays. Kids can see that.
